In SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Manager was rewritten and renamed to Managemen
t
Studio. If ISVs (independent software vendors) could plug their SQL Server
tool(s) into Management Studio creating a single environment for you to
work in which tools do you use that youd like to see surfaced in
Management Studio.

SQL Server Management Platform TeamRed Gate's SQL Compare or a similar tool would be great
Any 3rd-party backup tool that ships with its own console

SQLCompare + 3rd party backup would be at the top of my list.
Personally I'd like to be able to offer Reporting Services Scripter
(http://www.sqldbatips.com/showarticle.asp?ID=62) as an add-in to enhance
the RS scripting abilities of SSMS (possibly in the form of a wizard)

using the designated compression tool for log shipping and detecting it for
restores. Using the tool includes transparent/automatic deployment to new
target machines, especially for restores (no license implications)..
Tools for performance tuning/monitoring/alerting.Yes, I saw the Data
Management Warehouse presentation at PASS. I lobbied for an open XML
standard for individual server aggregation in addition to MOM collection
already planned on top of the local warehouse. Support
aggretation/multi-server monitoring/alerting.
