extra apps on a clustered server

We are moving our Servers to a more physically secured location and alot of
the server management is going with them. The company that will be managing
our servers wants to put a tool called IBM Manger on the Passive side of our
our Active Passive SQL2K Cluster. It sounds like a bad idea to me, but need
something to back it up. I have no Clustering background so it's a bit
difficult to talk about intelligently other than saying "it's not good to
have other apps on SQL". All ammo is greatly appreciated.
